I replaced the Noctua NH-L9i Chromax CPU cooler in my Fractal Node 202 build and found that my temperature dropped by about 5-6Β° on average under load C sank. The average CPU temperature under load is around 69 degrees. When idle, the difference to the Noctua cooler is small, about 1C cooler (about 43C). Overall, the Scythe Shuriken 2 is the best option for a Node 202. Both fans are quiet to my ears, but the Scythe fan has 11 blades and the slightly thinner Noctua fan has 9 blades, so the Scythe fan should feel intuitive Little move more air so I'm not sure I would swap the Scythe fan for a Noctua fan - a good idea. I didn't have to remove the Node 202's dust filter. Installation for my LGA 1200 Intel i7-10700 processor was quick and easy. LGA 1200 compatibility is listed on the Scythe packaging. It fits perfectly on my Asus ROG STRIX H470I motherboard. Thermal paste comes in plastic packages, like ketchup - I used a different paste with a syringe applicator. Overall I am very happy with this cooler and there really is nothing better to build Node 202.
