new review (after six months of use) the first thing that I unexpectedly discovered was that the hunchback slightly decreased after sticking the NAD325BEE amp into the ear output (and not the onkyo 7555 player, in which the bottoms in the ear output were clearly raised) the second thing I did consciously was, on the advice of the Internet, I made a light tweak: I took off the headphone covers and put coat fabric in them in the shape of the cover (first I made paper patterns). for those who are afraid to "break" new ears: disassembling the headphones is a regular procedure described in the manual with pictures. after the specified tweak, the basses decently leveled out, the boom disappeared, life became more fun the third is what is called warming up. for a couple of days I listened to a dispatch-rammstein-prodzhidi at high volume. After that, I suddenly discovered that the basses seemed to have become more even and I already specially drove them to any evil music. result - changed my mind to sell =) old review: for serious listening to music, I personally have a bit too much bass. For lovers of thumping bass, it will probably be just right. But then it's easier to buy Philips for 20-30 ye - everything is as it should be in this regard =). I do not hear any "evenness" in these ears. Compared in "Mediamarkt" with 20 others and was convinced of this. The seller told me the same thing =). I exclude coldness in the "media market" because these ears on the demo-stand there idly sing all day long. I see a lot of reviews about the evenness of the frequency response of these ears and now I think: maybe the manufacturer has changed something in the new batch? Anyway, I didn't like the sound. The packaging is a little alarming: a plastic, sometimes transparent box, the suspension is not reinforced with the traditional "sennheiser" plastic gray tab. Serious "zenkhs" come in cardboard, budget ones in plastic, but of a different type (embossed, completely transparent, with a gray insert in the place where the package is hanging). It is strange that the packaging is not similar to either one (for a fake, they seem to be not expensive enough and made too well for the Chinese). Sennheiser does not offer authentication procedures, which is a pity
