This is my first 3D printer. If you have basic mechanical/electrical knowledge you should have it ready and printed in about an hour. Everything went smoothly, there were no problems during assembly. It took a little fiddling with the menu, but I was able to print out the piggy bank that came with it on the first day. I had an issue where the Cura and Slic3r started printing 9mm above the bed, but loading Crealitys' slicer program fixed the issue. He likes certain brands of thread more than others. You need to experiment with bed and extruder temperatures. I had an issue with minimal bed warping, but I found that it corrects itself when you print onto a substrate. Next station is automatic bed leveling.
