The noise disappears at regular intervals
At first glance, all this seemed quite normal. The UI is silly and recording starts 5-20 seconds after you click record, but you'll get used to the quirks over time. The biggest problem I had was using the footage. These recorders routinely skip about a second of audio at regular intervals. I have no idea why that is, but in a 15 minute shot I usually have about 10 of these drops. In addition, these things basically become a burden because you never know when they will be cut and what will be left out. Advantages: Small USB stick. Good battery life. Good sound quality. Cons: plastic. recording disorders. Fragile USB ports. USB, not micro
