Not bad, just a Velcro pocket.
First of all, this is a durable case. It's just a straight bag, not a ton of frills. I would recommend buying spartan zippers with o-rings to make it easier to seal the expandable part. But I guess it's a matter of preference whether you leave it stuffed all the time or unpack/repack frequently.
