Review on GROOVYPETS Dog Remote Training Collar System: Rechargeable No Bark Collar and Remote Obedience Training Shock Collar Set (2 Collars) by Wendy Barents

Good product and very happy with the results

I bought a two collar system. The product has a vibration option and I use it exclusively with very good results. Haven't seen any other vibrating collar here, which is great! I tested all three options on my fingers before using them on dogs and I have to say I will only stick to vibrate mode and the softest impact setting when needed. The higher shock mode is probably intended for large dogs with high pain tolerance and loss of control. It was a terrible shock to my hand. I've only had to use the softest shock setting on a dog a few times when he was so tunnel vision while chasing my cat that the vibration option didn't work. Now he has an idea, and the vibrating collar is a good reminder to drop him and leave the cat alone. But for both dogs, the vibration option is enough to keep them from annoying barking outside and chasing my cat. I can just sit inside on the couch and when they start barking uncomfortably from behind I push the buttons and he works through the walls of the house to stop him. The product has greatly reduced the stress in my house for humans and my poor cat. I only wear collars when I am at home as I have found that if left on for even a full day they can wear away the fur and leave a damp bald spot on my short haired dog's neck. Also, I don't want it to malfunction and accidentally turn it off a few times when I'm not around. I've read of this happening online in reviews of some other collar brands. And I don't use it when I'm gone anyway, so why leave the collars on? I've had the product for over four months now and the battery life is fine. When someone in these reviews complains that they ran out of battery and are having problems and can't use it anymore, it's because they don't read the instructions. Part #3 and the third paragraph states that when the light on the collar goes off, connect the collar to the supplied power cord and CHARGE! Lol Rechargeable batteries for dog collars! You don't have to keep buying new batteries. So overall I am very satisfied with the training collars.
