I bought this blue senior dog food for free for six Chihuahuas because I thought I was doing the right thing. I had to take one of my Chihuahuas to the ER at 5pm on September 17th. My chihuahua got diarrhea, refused to sit with me, tried to hide outside where I couldn't find her, and she didn't eat for five days. They said they needed IV fluids, I refused to leave my dog. This weekend, after syringe feeding my dog, giving her food was the only option. The only thing I changed with my six Chihuahuas is feeding them this wonderful food that is high end dog food. I just knew that nothing could happen to any of my Chihuahuas. what i changed. I was at a loss as to what to do with all the symptoms a photo my jewel Minnie had, other than seizures and blindness, thank god I caught it in time. I know there's no way I can prove it happened because of that food, but I'll tell you it was because of that food, she had lead poisoning. After I got better with this chihuahua, I kept feeding other chihuahuas the same food, who then vomited and got diarrhea, I immediately stop this food. This chihuahua in the photo had to go back to the ER one more time, they pretty much said my dog had kidney failure and there was nothing I could do, I almost put my chihuahua down. I kept praying and kept praying two days after I saw the vet in the ER, her levels didn't go down another day after that, I took her to the regular vet and my Minnie Pearl was 100% better because I was bigger than I give her not this food. after realizing what's going on. After all this I checked the internet and there were reviews after my chihuahua got sick $1200 later and there was a review for lead in that old grain free soft dog food and also in solid dry food. I am terribly upset that any dog food company could do anything to hurt someone's love for pets. I can't say 100% that it happened because of this, all I know is that my dog is alive and well and I will never feed my chihuahuas any dog food, they will get what I eat so know my chihuahuas in safety and not having another $1200 vet bill and maybe I put my chihuahuas down for what I thought I was doing the right thing and feeding their dogs the best premium dog food.
