Hit a tire? This is a bead emitter. This product appears to be well made and it was a good deal for the purchase price. However, it is made in China with German and English documentation. (English, of course, wasn't the native language of the person who created the documentation) The "M" (male) type connector is for filling the device, but could use a quick connect hose for an unregulated portable air tank. The meter will display BAR/MPa (megapascals) instead of PSI. I'm not sure if MPa is a German thing or a Chinese thing? Still, a good liquid-filled gauge if you're really into megapascals. Psi (pounds per square inch) is 1 pound of force per square inch. A bar is approximately equal to the atmospheric pressure at sea level and is defined as 100,000 pascals (100 kPa). 1 megapascal is about 145 pounds per square inch. (but there are variables) The description says 116 psi. (It's a bit tricky, but I'll just swap the foreign gauge for one I can understand better at a glance. A 1/4-inch psi gauge is about $6 at Menards). I don't know which security click is set. for, but it hasn't shown up at 120psi yet. don't use it! Under the right circumstances of abuse, you can suffer "very serious” injuries. They use the explosive atmospheric pressure in the tank and quickly release it from a directional nozzle. Dropping the tank from "any" height while it is fully pressurized (although the instructions don't mention it at all) is neither recommended nor recommended.
