Not bad brushes. Not good. But decent. With some brushes, the bristles are sometimes defective and stick out of line instead of sticking out evenly and straight from the metal tip that holds the bristles. So if you want brushes with very fine, perfect bristle tips for fine detail, this isn't the best set. But it's ok if you just need extra brushes to paint broad strokes. Instead of a linen brush holder, which I don't want, the company could add more brushes for the same price, including smaller brushes. This set mainly contains large brushes, all with long handles. It's a very good deal, but it would be even better if it was just additional brushes in smaller sizes instead of a canvas holder.
