It's pretty simple. I have a 1974 AMC Javelin and it has glass fuses so I got one of those, works great. Buy for a few euros, put in the glove compartment and off you go. You stick it on the glass fuse, twist it counterclockwise and pull so you don't damage the fuse. It's pretty nifty. If you have those glass tubes I suggest getting these. It even has a new fuse puller on the opposite end so you can use it on new cars too! The only thing I didn't like was the long delivery time.
