Review on πŸ”Œ 3M Temflex High-Performance General Use Vinyl Electrical Tape 175, Black, 3/4 inch x 60 feet (19 millimeters x 18 meters), Pack of 10 Rolls by Dink Rivas

Great tape for cold weather

I've had so many problems with my regular black tape getting hard in cold temperatures. This Temflex PVC vinyl material does not cure at least at 30 degrees Fahrenheit. The label says it's good down to -7 degrees Celsius, which is about 19 degrees Fahrenheit, a temperature I often see in the middle of winter where I live. So far the tape has been very flexible in cold weather and sticks well like other electrical tapes. The high temperature of this tape is 194 degrees, which gives a very good range for various conditions. 194 seems hot, but if you use it in the engine bay near the exhaust manifold, it can get even hotter just a few inches away. This tape has all the usual UL, CSA etc approvals and is approved for use in all electrical work. . This pack contains 10 rolls, all individually wrapped and labelled.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet
