Review on 💨 Western Enterprise QDB33 Argon Inert Gas Regulator Quick Connect/Disconnect Set - Efficient Hose Connector by Chris Spoja

I purchased two QDB33 quick disconnect units from Western Enterprises and received them on 09/02/21. Yes, they have a very nice smooth plug and play feature, but what I really need is the check valve feature, which is listed on both the Western Enterprise website and the product disclosure for this unit. That's the main reason I buy them. I have an argon tank and a C25 tank connected to a Y valve to power my MIG machine. Sometimes I need less CO2 in my gas, so I turn on my argon tank at the appropriate flow rate so the mix mixes to about 95% Ar and 5% CO2. In the past I suspected that my tank's regulators allowed the lower pressure tank to pull some of the gas from the higher pressure tank when both Y-valves were open, since the regulators themselves weren't proper check valves. This is the main reason for the need for these check valves/quick disconnects. A big disappointment due to the lack of a check valve on these units.
