The product manual is incredibly small and very difficult to read. After completing the installation according to the product manual, there was no signal on the screen when downloading the application required according to the instructions. So I connected an HDMI cable to the Mac to make sure the signal is going through the HDMI cable to the TV and the picture is fine. The Mac has a direct HDMI-to-HDMI connection to the TV, so I know the HDMI cable is fine and the Lightning cable we're using is a regular iPad Lightning cable. Either bad software or the device is defective
