I put this on a Dana 30 with the new 410 gears about a month ago. The gear was just breaking in so I only recently tried the Grip Pro. I was slowly crawling up a staggered hill at 45 degrees or better just to test the device. My Jeep crawled uphill and never lost traction. I am impressed. Since I have not found any reports on this device, the question of durability does not yet arise. But in the future I will write a review on this topic. Grip Pro is a great working LS! I also have an LS clutch on the rear axle and it takes more pressure to lock the sprocket than an all gear Grip Pro unit. So far I'm very satisfied and if that lasts I'll get another one for the rear axle. update date; I've ridden several trails here in Tennessee since installing the unit. These are mostly mountain trails and a lot of very large rocks. I've never gotten stuck in one position because of poor traction. It's not as heavy as a locker but the draw didn't let me down and in some instances I seemed better at throwing arias than lockers on other rigs. Very satisfied so far! update 2; This month I walked 2 to 7 hours at Coppengers Cove and Bryants Cove. I installed this block, threw it all away, I think anyone can find it to install and the thing is fine. From deep mud to climbing steep hills with very big rocks, I now only have one tire to crank. It works. If it were to break or fail, it would be now. I rode back the steep, rocky hill, put as much weight on it as the axle could handle, and started up the hill at full power. I had a little wheel slip but both spun when it happened. I am planning a Rubacon trip next year and am upgrading the 30 to a purpose built 44 for this trip. I will be using the Grip Pro for this build. I drive Jeep every day and never know if the device is there. We're going to move our rigs to Nevada; Execution of the Rubacon; and return if it shows my confidence in this device. I'm still very happy with it and will be picking up another one for 44 very soon.
