Buy this! - Differential kits

This cabinet is of the highest quality! Easy to install and adjust when working on the same gears. What a huge difference in off-road performance OMG! You won't recognize it on the 2WD road. Far superior in quality and performance to alternative products offered in the same price range. This is the one!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Budget alternative - locks when needed

It's been a while since the break-in period and so far it's been satisfactory. It's not a true locker, but it behaves passively when closure is required. I've been making steep climbs on loose gravel and mud and can "feel" it gently lock up the front end as it fires. I wasn't sure how well it would work, but I was very happy with it. It's also economical and poses no problem on the freeway, and it doesn't bounce or skip your daily drive around corners.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Best traction control for off-road/everyday use

I installed one of these units in the back of my Jeep a few months ago. Many thousands of miles, some off-road rides, and here I put one on the front differential. It offers reliable traction control without the expense and hassle of an air or electric locker. I drive, he works, it's over. If you're going off-road and get it into a state where one wheel is spinning, apply the brake, it'll coast and forward. Pretty easy to install. After installation I removed the rear driveshaft and put the…

Closes like a locker

God what a beautiful device. One thumb on the brake pedal and it locks a wheel in the air on each axle, no problem at all. I like it a lot more than the various auto lockers I've run and to be honest I like it more than my old ARBs. It's not a dedicated rock buggy of course, but the high-offset limited-slip mechanism really keeps you going and unlike any slack you can really turn with full traction in the mud and if you hit rocks they'll lock up at the slightest pressure on the brakes and…

  • Absolutely amazing!

So even so good on gearbox and drive train

I put this on a Dana 30 with the new 410 gears about a month ago. The gear was just breaking in so I only recently tried the Grip Pro. I was slowly crawling up a staggered hill at 45 degrees or better just to test the device. My Jeep crawled uphill and never lost traction. I am impressed. Since I have not found any reports on this device, the question of durability does not yet arise. But in the future I will write a review on this topic. Grip Pro is a great working LS! I also have an LS clutch

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some imperfections
