Review on WiFi router TP-LINK TL-MR150, black by Czesawa Agnieszka Ta ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

Purchased for a dacha where three generations of the family were present at the same time, using laptops, tablets, and phones. I was forced to use a Megafon/Huawei 3G router that was ten years old and out of date. The TP-LINK TL-MR100 appeared to be the most appealing option on the market, but since there was only one seller offering it at the time of purchase without courier delivery, I ended up choosing the following model in the TP-LINK TL-MR150 series, which had a larger body and more LAN ports than I needed (from the descriptions, I concluded that all 4g-oriented models TP-LINK TL-MR are approximately the same in hardware design and older models have more functions that I do not need). The router was positioned higher, on the home's second floor, to improve mobile signal reception. A Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi Amplifier PRO repeater was also acquired to ensure a strong WI FI signal throughout the garden plot. The repeater is configured to roam. The outcome thrilled me. The site has consistently attained the 10 Mbps maximum possible Internet speed at the pace that Amazon uses.

Pros
  • A router and a 4g modem are used to provide mobile Internet access in the nation. 15 permanently linked devices are successfully supported by a small, cool gadget, and setup is simple.
Cons
  • 1. Expensive. I received more than 5,000 with delivery by a courier. 2. It is doubtful whether this modem can be used to connect the apartment's LAN to the Internet after the summer. since the only connection option in the WAN settings is a SIM card.
