Great concept for hiking when you only need to use the leash for a short time. But very poor performance. The nylon sheath snags on the cord attachment the entire time, limiting the length to about a foot until you stop and fiddle with it for a while to loosen the plastic that the cord's wrist strap attaches to. Considering that although it is a well-known company, it is made cheaply in China, but the price is more than double the same cheap leashes made in China, with no major design/function flaw , find one of the copies of Revain and try them out. You save money and nerves. This one was just designed by someone who never tested his design.
