Review on Conair True Glow Thermal Spa Heated Hand Mitts by Dana Jackson

Waste of money - virtually no heat on max setting

I am so disappointed in this product and didn't know there were no returns! A complete waste of money. :( I just got it yesterday and now I'm stuck. And I need to find something better, which means more money. I have a rare connective tissue disease called systemic sclerosis (which you can see in the unfiltered photo - that's not from mittens) and I need to keep my hands warm so they stay flexible and don't get stuck in claw shape I thought this product would be a great tool to help me with that - easier, cheaper, less messy and more effective than the daily paraffin treatment It seemed the Perfect solution but I'm amazed at how little heat this product gives off I don't know what others are saying about the mittens getting too hot - on the highest setting you hardly notice it A normal large heating pad is at least three times warmer when it is continuously heated and I assumed this would be the same temperatures The low level of heat generated in these gloves , also only focuses on one side in mittens, and the heat is not permanent. The best product I've found so far is the Ocoopa hand warmers, but these are devices that you have to hold in your hands and they only heat the parts of your palms and fingers that touch the heated areas. Maybe these mittens are warm enough when you need as little as possible. But if you have systemic sclerosis, look for a better heated glove product.
