These stages have slight differences. I just measured one and two sides that are 0.002 inches apart which is 0.6 degrees of length so it's not an accurate tool but really is it? I found that when the bubble touches one of the lines, the plane is about 1 degree from the center of the bubble. The photos some have posted show that the deviation can be 2 degrees below level. But like others have said, every site is different. In my case, I wanted to show if the autopilot is level. I installed and leveled the autopilot on my workbench using a digital spirit level. Then I put the best of the 6 bubble levels on the case, but the bubble level didn't show up. The hull was not level when the overall block was level. So I found one of the bubbles that indicated the level at that point and sealed it with duct tape. The point is that you have to think about what you want to achieve and if you want to know if something is within 1 degree and if you can take the time to measure the bubbles it will work very well. In a 6 and 4 pack, I am sure that one of the 24 combinations will come in very handy for what you are trying to do. If you want 6 to work perfectly no matter which side you use and you want to know within 0.1 degrees, this isn't for you.
