As a college student with Rheumatoid Arthritis (on my hands no less) and an endless amount of homework to do while sitting in all sorts of fun places and positions, I finally decided that I need something to help make things a little more convenient. I liked the looks and the price so it wasn't a problem when I saw it. Well I wish I had taken more time to review this and maybe a few others. While I understand why there's wood here to hold the tilted laptop in place and it adds character, it's actually very intrusive and uncomfortable. Something much smaller could stand in its place and not bother you, and finally I value comfort more than character. I haven't checked the return period yet, but I'm considering sending it back if possible. If you have ample desk space and don't have arthritis, this might not bother you. but I still have a fairly large table, and this piece of wood seems to rest on my wrist most of the time.
