Pretty good, but might not be what you're looking for

FIRST NOTE: THESE ARE *NOT* FOR THE EXCHANGE OF MUSIC BETWEEN TWO COUPLES AS A PICTURE Suggests! EACH END IS A DIFFERENT MONOCHANNEL. I bought them, like other reviewers, for a pair of Hifiman headphones (HE-400i) because the cable they came with had a frustrating amount of memory and the end that connects to your source has a 90 -Grad connector has (why?) This cable is a definite improvement. No problem keeping it straight, feels good in hand and ends straight. It's not without its drawbacks, however, for an admittedly unadvertised use. (I do find it interesting, however, that they are the exact same color and feel as the Hifiman cups.) The optimist in me was hoping the business part of the cord would be 3 feet with the addition of split ends. Not so; it's about 3 feet from end to end. The two mono ends are about 6 inches from the joint, making for a fairly snug fit between the chin and neck. It hasn't caused me any problems, but it might be if I had a beard or was more active. They're also unmarked, so you'll have to do an L/R test to find out which is which, and tell them apart yourself (you can see where I put the bureaucratic tape). Paper to the right in my photos) Interestingly, the case around the mono jacks is unscrewed, at least on the one I received. This can be useful for repairs or the like. In general, I'm happy with them, even despite the odd fit around the neck. I'll leave this on the desk for stationary use and take the 6" for more practical use. I'll update my review if the breakdown is different.
