I wanted to love this kit but couldn't justify keeping it. The leather ear pads are comfortable, although not as comfortable as the standard ear pads. The combination of leather ear pads and more heavily sealed outer bezels provides a SIGNIFICANT improvement in noise isolation over standard ear pads. It's almost like they're real noise-cancelling headphones. I was very impressed to say the least. Regarding the audio quality in games with this full set, I found the tracking accuracy (footsteps, planes flying, etc.) worse, especially in Modern Warfare due to the closed style of the headset with everything plugged in. Music sounds great when you listen to it on PC. The leather pad on top of the headset puts a little more pressure on my head than I would like, but it never hurts. And a microphone. Half the reason I bought this mod kit was the "upgraded" microphone. I will say that it sounds better than the standard A40TR mic. However, it is too heavy on its own, so it keeps falling off and I have to constantly readjust it while playing, which always results in a loud cracking sound for you and other players. And to put a nail in the coffin, the mic just stopped working after owning this set for less than TWO weeks. I thought the mic might have come loose from adjusting it so many times, but no; It stopped picking up all sounds and made this horrible crackling sound every time I touched the mic or turned my head. So I am returning this mod kit and cannot recommend it. If you're just interested in leather ear pads and noise isolation then I'd say go for it (if you can justify the already high price point).
