Review on 🚗 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for 2010-2015 Toyota (Camry, Venza) 2.5/2.7L L4: Increase Horsepower, High Performance - 69-8617TTK by Justin Newport

Basically I bought this air intake to change the sound of the engine and damn it changes it. It gave my 2011 Camry SE a deeper growl, especially at higher RPMs. It makes the car feel a little funnier, but it certainly doesn't make a significant difference in performance. However, you really shouldn't expect a huge performance gain with this mod. Took about 3 hours to install, I really took my time to make sure I didn't mess anything up. The instructions that came with it were very helpful, as was the YouTube video that K&N has on their channel, which I highly recommend. After driving 8,000 km with it, I had no problems. However, the damn filter fell off due to my own stupidity and carelessness during installation. Although I took my time, I barely tightened the hose clamp on the cone, and I also managed to completely skip the assembly of the metal bracket that supports the intake pipes. Don't be stupid and skip things like me, always make sure everything is tight and not missing! Overall I am very satisfied with the product, but the price is quite high for me. You're most likely paying for the brand, but since it's a Camry and you won't find many parts for it, k&n is one of the few options. I also appreciate that this particular air intake comes with a heat shield to reduce engine heat, other brands I've seen don't have anything of the sort.
