Can't get this thing to stand at all - with iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 - we bought two. I twisted the legs like in the photo, but in fact they don't stand up at all. I'm still giving it four stars because it's convenient to just pop your iPhone into this thing and plug it into everything. As for the rearview mirror in the car, I think it shakes too much, so I just hooked it up where it wouldn't bounce/wiggle too much. Four stars again because it's still comfortable, but I don't think it's as great as others say.
