Difficult to use and broke after several uses

I used this tool to make polymer clay earrings. The creaking sound when turning the handle was awful. High and noisy and WD40 did not help. I gave up and ignored it as otherwise it worked fine. After several uses, it became increasingly difficult to turn the device and take out the sound. I'm talking about hand calluses that are difficult to turn. I used it maybe 5-10 times in total before it broke completely. The platform that pushes the sound up bent last night and I can't fix it.

Used for many crafts such as polymer clay, ceramic clay, fondant, chewing gum, cake decorating, soap dough, soap making, modeling chocolate and Mexican pasta;
