First of all, these aren't brass base Satco light bulbs - they aren't aluminum base names. So if you are going to use them outdoors this is something to consider as brass resists corrosion better than aluminum in a humid environment. I believe when I ordered them last year they were Satco brass. But overall they work as expected and while I don't think they will last 2500 hours I am not disappointed with their longevity. They are well packaged and there were no defects in the box. If you have a lot of these then this is a fair deal. I'm not sure why these individual boxed bulbs have become so expensive at the hardware store. I would recommend her without hesitation.
