Metrovac works very well. I especially like the hose length. Each section of hose can open an air inlet when using some of the smaller nozzles. As other reviewers have noted, the device does get a bit warm, but that doesn't seem to affect performance. The reason I'm giving it four stars is because I want the unit to retract or have a shackle to wrap the power cord around. Another problem with the power cord is that if you accidentally pull the cord too hard, the plastic "plug" holding the cord to the body of the cleaner will pop out of the hole. Overall, this vacuum is definitely easier to use than lugging around my Kenmore canister. Vacuum every time I want to clean my cars. I haven't used the blow function, so I can't comment on its effectiveness.
