Review on ✂️ Fiskars Crafts Rotary Cutter, 60mm Titanium: The Ultimate Tool for Precision Crafting by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The blade didn't even go through clothing.

See all those people in the reviews complaining about dull blades? There's a reason for that. Pros: The cutter is really comfortable to hold and it's a lot easier to cut out pattern pieces than with scissors. When the cutter was taken out of the box, the blade was so sharp that all I had to do was wave it across the fabric and the garments cut themselves. Well, not really, but it seemed so; it was really sharp and cut effortlessly. The Bad: The blade didn't even hold a single piece of clothing. I cut on a self-healing mat. I sewed a cotton shirt. When I got to the last few pieces, the cutter wasn't cutting at all. I could run my thumb over the blade and not cut myself, it was so dull. Serious. Wow. Ugly: $9 for replacement blades. I bought this on a whim to complement a 15 year old Olfa 45mm cutter I have. Olfa still has the original blade and still cuts like a champ, but I figured the handle would suit my older paws. Let the buyer be alert.
