I bought three of these for three different cars based on good reviews. All three lost traction with the car. I live in Southern California and the weather is mild. I would say that the outside temperature never reached 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the period of use. When it worked the mount was great. The magnet was strong enough to hold my iPhone 7 Plus with the ElementCase rugged case. It comes with several additional adhesive pads and additional plates that can either be attached directly to the phone or placed between the phone and the case. He could hold the phone in portrait or landscape mode. However, I noticed that after about a couple of weeks the adhesive on one side started to lose grip and eventually just peeled off. This has happened to all three of my machines so it's no coincidence that I got a bad product. I would not recommend this product at all. Now I'm looking for another mount or style to mount my phone.
