This product is great but gets sooo hot when I live, the glue literally melted and the mount came loose from the glue. I will order a vent mount to replace this. In the photo I found it in my car after a hot day.

Seemingly a pretty simple thing, a magnetic phone holder but I've seen people have issues with other brands not holding their phones. in their cars. I drive a full size 4WD P/U so this was an issue as the ride can get quite bumpy at times. I've had a Wizgear phone mount for a few weeks now, hit some world famous potholes, climbed a curb or two and my phone stayed in place. This is a good kit, it comes with 2 large rectangular metal plates and 1 small round plus 2 additional 3m mounting straps.

If you do this, first simply remove the supplied adhesive tape. Replace it with the 3M strip that came separately in the box. I installed it on my dashboard for 5 months. During that time I had to change the adhesive twice as the adhesive pad detached from the base of the mount and my phone sagged to the bottom. The adhesive was left on my dash so I know it was applied correctly. After the second adhesive pad failed, I used a different adhesive that held up well. This is the third bracket I have tried on my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. The vent mount works in my wife's Enclave with flat vents, so the Wizgear model stays in this car.
