When we bought these rugs we considered both 8 and 9 piece versions of the rug. Clicking back and forth it looked like the difference was that the 9 split the mat into 2 parts (it does) and we PRESUME that splitting would happen at the rear seat hinge. It is not. Neither the 8- or 9-piece floor mats cover the seatbacks when folded down. Now that we have that out of the way the mats look GREAT, fit and stick to the main carp. They are thick and very well made. When I sent the manufacturer a question about the "missing" back cushions for clarification, the response came within minutes. Would highly recommend these mats, especially with the white interior (our baby is blue and white).
