My new nuts came well packaged with a foam insert in the box with cut outs for each nut to allow them to appear as made. They have been lightly coated to protect the finish and give them some resistance to corrosion when left on a shelf. Ripple to the end, but unless you're upside down they look every bit as good as any much more expensive nuts I've seen. Yes they are chrome plated which means they need wax to prevent them from rusting. Machine with lots of soap that removes the wax, they need to be waxed again. if they ever rust, it's because I let them. The first set they sent me was much more expensive than the 4" nuts with blue studs designed for aftermarket 8 stud wheels. To resolve this issue I just wanted to ask them to send me the correct nuts and I would resend them the nuts they accidentally sent instead of mine. The credit card was refunded and I was told to just leave the wrong nuts and if I wanted to order the correct set again they will make sure it is sent correctly this time. It was a pain but I finally got the nuts right and my truck looks great again. So I give them 5 stars for everything from the fit to the finish (considering the price) if they cost more I would have expected more. 5 stars for packaging 5 stars for customer service but I felt guilty that the manufacturer lost a much more expensive set of nuts that I cannot and do not want to use. (and I'd happily ship them to the buyer on their behalf) but they'll just sit on my shelf until one day I buy a set of aftermarket wheels.
