I don't use vinyl.

I like its thickness and because the stick is so light it releases fantastically if you can get it to pull the vinyl out first. I had to redo a few projects because I started applying vinyl and tape and the letters (vinyl) just fell off the tape and flew apart. It's pretty much useless. If you're making large vinyl cuts like 12x12 you might be able to get it to work, but if you need something for thin cuts forget it.
