As a homeowner I was looking for something to clean the air ducts but a few things just didn't work for me. Here are a few things that didn't work for me. I've tried using a vacuum hose extension, using a long wand with a brush attachment, and tried vacuums, but they didn't clean the entire air duct the way I wanted. This ventilation brush makes it possible. I save my time and money for other items. It really penetrates the canal to clean all the edges and corners of the canal very well. The bristles are soft so they won't damage the ducts and are safe to use in plastic or metal ducts. Very easy to install on a cordless drill, less than 1-2 minutes to screw on and they are ready to use. When I first used this I was surprised at how much lint there was in my air ducts which could pose a fire hazard if left alone. Definitely recommend this to my friends and family. You'll appreciate what I've been through.
