This product comes with power and video cables. My security cameras transmit video over my wireless network, so this review is based on my experience with power extension cords (cables that end in a red plug). The power extension cord uses a 5.5 x 2.1mm plug adapter. These power extension cords have too high a resistance and cannot supply enough current to power my security cameras. The wire is too thin for a 100 foot cable. I recommend buying another cable with at least 20 AWG wires. The two cables did not provide enough power for my cameras to function properly at any distance from the capture device. (See photo, the camera flashes red for a camera connected to an aftermarket extension cable and blue for a camera connected to a manufacturer's extension cable). The other two cables provided just enough power to keep the cameras operating within line of sight of the capture device. These last two extension cords were only able to power my security cameras a short distance from cameras plugged into another extension cord, and even then performance continued to drop. This was very annoying as I had already installed the cameras and run cables along a long stretch of the attic only to find that the cameras would not connect. Tip - Check your extension cords BEFORE installing them.
