I received this lamp as a Christmas present after borrowing it from my brother for a long time, so when I opened the box I knew exactly what I was getting. Pros: Sufficient brightness and temperature adjustment to make this table lamp practical for almost any scenario thanks to the many LED bulbs in the holder. I haven't used the timer function, but I think it would be useful in some situations. The lamp sits on an inconspicuous but relatively sturdy base and this combined with the articulating (and swiveling) arm means it occupies a very small footprint, perfect for desks with limited space. The USB port on the side is also handy for limiting the number of sockets used at the same time. Overall, the mechanics of the light work flawlessly and the design works in both form and function. Cons: The mount is made of plastic, which looks slim but isn't as sturdy as it looks. The lamp also attracts a lot of dust and is relatively difficult to keep clean (at least with the black model). The buttons that control the settings aren't tactile (which is a good thing), but it takes time to learn how to press one button without activating the others. Since these shortcomings no longer affect my day-to-day experience, I consider them very minor. Conclusion: This is the best table lamp I have ever owned in terms of practicality and functionality. While the design leaves a lot to be desired for those who want a more traditional lamp, this is a great option for most people. I could replace it with a higher quality lamp if I ever bought a bigger table, but other than that I plan to use it in the future.
