The size is slightly larger. in my opinion
I bought a small one according to the size chart for my seven year old grandson. It fits him NOW - not sure after I washed it. It's a little too tight for a hoodie. If he hadn't seen it when he arrived I would have sent him back for the medium. Keep this in mind when in doubt about the size.

- I picked them because they come in different colors.
- After several washes, it quickly faded and the logo on the arm fell off. My daughter wasn't happy.
