I don't usually complain about product design, but this article will test your patience, so here are my tips based on my experience. First, take a small and medium-sized screwdriver. The instructions are vague so common sense will be your friend. Second, don't try to install them until you have alkaline batteries. I installed them at relatives' house, far away from the store, and only high-capacity batteries were available. The display on the device flashes every second. The battery runs out faster than I want to go back up the stairs to turn it off. Holding the "camera" in your hand, imagine the final position of the installed block. If you screw it to the wall first and then try to adjust the angles, you'll enjoy how I felt at the top of the stairs in the cold wind trying to adjust it. Lesson learned. Much luck!
