Review on TOP BRIGHT Wooden Dollhouse Elevator by Paul Hubbard

Let me start by saying this doll house is cute! This is everything my daughter wanted for Christmas! I would definitely give 5 stars but unfortunately the other reviews are correct that the elevator is difficult. Ours broke literally seconds after assembly this Christmas. Getting on and off the trail is so hard that the little white handle snaps off right away. Then I tried to carefully help my daughter get the elevator up, but the elevator broke. This thing wouldn't move if partially raised or lowered. As it is the main moving part of this dollhouse and my daughter loved it, I cannot recommend it. A slot for batteries but doesn't quite work is disappointing but I've read about it beforehand so no surprises. Would be a fun accessory if it worked. Despite the disappointment of the broken elevator, my daughter now enjoys playing with it. Not sure if I'll survive the return issues or just break the big elevator shaft.
