Staub claims on their website (StaubUSA.com) that their pottery is made in France, but when you receive the pottery it says 'Made in China' right on the packaging! I called the company and they said they have no control over misleading information on their Staub USA website as the website operates in France! "All Staub products continue to be made in France and are available worldwide," says StaubUSA.com directly on its About Us page. Not to mention that "Made in France" is written on the top right of every page.
