So far so good. Let's see how it holds up. I'm not a mall crawler and I'll be honest. The magnetic mount version from the same company sucked. This version is reliable. The phone holder itself has an aluminum feel and is strong enough to hold my iPhone 8 in a suburban otter box with enough room for a large phone. Previous mechanisms appear to be rigid and durable. Once I get some real off-road bombing on a rough fire road at 20-30 mph, it becomes a real test of whether it will hold up. BTW, even though it looks like a different company (67 designs), this company doesn't make all of their products in the US either! Overall I am very satisfied with this product. Let's see how well they honor their guarantee if anything happens and I'll be sure to let everyone know.
