I have four and they are very good humidifiers. Even with a whole house humidifier on top of a stove, the humidity in the house would drop to 10% in cold weather if both gas stoves were running frequently. This caused our hardwood floors to shrink, as well as dry, itchy skin and static electricity from low humidity. It is not possible to add another built-in air humidifier to the second oven due to the installation location. So I originally bought three of these to place in different rooms. They worked continuously at high power for several days, raising the humidity throughout the house to a low 30%, so I added a fourth in the attic above the large room. At the moment the house has an average humidity of 35-50% depending on how often the stoves are run, which is ideal. I can easily reduce their power on the dial when less is needed. Running at high speed I usually need to fill the 6 liter tanks twice a day, once in the morning and then before bed. At lower settings, once a day is sufficient. They are almost silent. We don't hear them running at all. There are no leaks, and the instructions allow you to set them to blow off the walls and furniture. The only wish is that they can be filled from the top or have a handle to carry the tank. It can be awkward and awkward when the tank is full and trying to transfer it from the sink to the unit. I usually have to hug it with both hands and it drips onto my shirt and then onto the floor when flipped over to install on the device. Top filling would be ideal. I have to take a towel to wipe the drips off the wooden floors. But other than that they never leak, the only water that comes in comes because I have to turn the tank upside down to put it in the base. I really like the LED water level window. It's very easy to see when they need to be refilled. I haven't tried the tiny essential oil boxes so I can't comment. In general I am very happy with them. The quality was the same for all four. They work. They fixed our moisture problem and life is so much better when you don't want to rip your feet off the dry air every day.
