The included cigarette lighter adapter introduces significant static noise into the signal sent to the IR headphones. When I instead used the included power cord and my own AC/DC inverter plugged into the cigarette lighter, this hiss/noise was completely gone. I would advise the manufacturer to solve this problem with an additional shield. When using the power cord, the sound quality and signal level transmitted to the IR headphones is fantastic. Highly recommended if using the power cord, but be aware of the included cigarette lighter power cord.
