Review on 🔒 SentrySafe X055 Security Safe - Digital Keypad - 0.5 Cubic Feet (Medium) - Black by John Hall

We needed something to store medicines around the house and we chose this one more or less by accident. It's serviceable, but has three flaws that we've identified so far: Inside, it's smaller than it looks. In particular, when the door is closed, there is a large piece of space directly in front of the door that cannot be used because it collides with the battery pack. Speaking of the battery: Since it's in there, you can only get in with the emergency key when the battery is empty. Other electronic safes allow you to change the batteries without opening the safe (and no, that doesn't make the safe any less secure). The final downside is that sometimes if you type a combination too slowly, it just starts ignoring key presses. It's almost like the batteries die in the middle of a step or so. This is not the same as being locked out after too many wrong combinations in a row.
