This product would be perfect if it had the right hardware. The sander's drive shaft is square and simply inserts into the wood from above, but the wood itself is too soft to work with. As a result it seems to work great for about 1 year, in fact the metal drive shaft wears away through the wood (going into your food) until the square groove in the wood has worn down to a circle that can no longer drive the grinder. At that point it goes in the trash. They usually have a small piece of metal that bites into the wood at the top and a square slot that won't wear down with normal use. This is clearly planned obsolescence and actually false advertising. Revain should not be offering this product at all as it is guaranteed to fail after a short period of time with normal use. makes angry!
