I chose this kit for my 2002 Civic LX Sedan because I wanted to keep the compartment under the stock radio. Given that this is for a multitude of years, the guidance isn't very good. I would google your specific year model for installation instructions. The texture and color of this trim matched the stock dash fairly well, and the included trim fitted perfectly with no noticeable gaps. Alternatively you can take some screws and washers M5x10mm (or longer). if you want to set DIN style. This allows you to adjust the depth of the main unit, as the ISO setting pushes it too far back into the dash. Ordinary mounting screws (M5x8mm) will not fit the radio due to the extra thickness of the bracket. Not a big deal as you don't need to install your own radio unless you're a bit handy. The price is right and I would buy again!
