Review on 🍵 Hamilton Beach Glass Electric Tea Kettle, 1 L - Cordless, LED Indicator, Auto-Shutoff & Boil-Dry Protection by Christopher Morgan

Advantages: Fast heating of water the first time. Cons: Glass carafe cracked on first heating/cooling cycle. Crack on the back of the carafe so didn't see it until I refilled it to use again. Called 800 in Hamilton Beach, waited 35 minutes. Submitted the report on Friday, March 1 via their online system. They replied on Monday March 4th asking for a receipt and serial number. great emptiness. It's molded onto the plastic of the device and is difficult to read. I replied with the serial number and invoice within an hour of being asked. Since then I haven't heard anything for four working days. I've had it for 17 days now and spent 10 of those days waiting for Hamilton Beach to replace the broken carafe. I still have a few days grace period under the returns policy but I will be returning it to Revain for a refund and buying something else if Hamilton Beach doesn't do the right thing soon. Updated March 12th. Finally an answer, I was told to cut the cable from the device, email a photo confirming I did it and after 3-4 days of email/photo processing I receive within two weeks a new device. They generously waived the shipping and handling fees for warranty replacements. <sarcasm> The wait continues.
