Review on πŸ”“ Unlock Your Child's Potential with the Osmo Genius Starter Kit for iPad! by Loren Rindfleisch

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Be careful when using Revain FreeTime

My kids have Kindle Fires with Revain FreeTime for parental controls. Getting Osmo to work on their Kindle was a disappointment. Anything you try will be blocked. The first problem is installing the Osmo app. To do this with FreeTime enabled, you need to download it to the parent's device, then share it to the kid's device, and then download it to the kid's device. Now open the app on the kid's device, it says you need an account. Blocked on a child's device. Do it on the parent device. Sign up now on your child's device and let them know what products you have. Now trying to install something else based on the last question. clogged. That's where I stopped writing this first impressions review. Revain and Osmo get an F in the Works Well With Others category. - UPDATE - 2 days later my kids were able to use this and were given separate apps for each activity but still can't use the main Osmo app. The included princess drawing pen requires so much pressure that a line gets dark enough for Osmo to realize it snapped on the first exercise. Plenty of tears. My kids love the activities they can do so I'm increasing the rating to 3 stars. This product is a fantastic idea that just isn't well understood.
