My kids have Kindle Fires with Revain FreeTime for parental controls. Getting Osmo to work on their Kindle was a disappointment. Anything you try will be blocked. The first problem is installing the Osmo app. To do this with FreeTime enabled, you need to download it to the parent's device, then share it to the kid's device, and then download it to the kid's device. Now open the app on the kid's device, it says you need an account. Blocked on a child's device. Do it on the parent device. Sign up

I really love this product. It's way better and more fun than hanging out on YouTube (*cough* Ryan *cough*). My daughter is 4 years old and got it for Christmas 2018. It quickly became her favorite toy. She loves the monster (which isn't actually included in this pack, but is a free download and doesn't require anything special other than a whiteboard and a dry-erase marker). screen and interacting with them is so interesting for them! *Update from original review: We have a spare base that is fully functional. The customer rating remains pretty poor, but the replacement base works well. My daughter loves her Osmo and the games she has. She prefers the detective game and plays it almost every day. We purchased the Genius kit after hearing about it for a long time in children's school and from our friends who have this product. Having played with the product with my daughter, I highly recommend it and think it's worth every penny at $99.99. While there are many educational games on the market that allow children to learn and practice the basics of math; I think this one is unique because it never glues them to the screen. I really like the idea of these activities and the tactile interactivity that Osmo creates. However, the games are kinda limited, boring and slow (at least for the kids). Hopefully they will update the programs in the future so our youngest child really enjoys them because I think there is a lot of potential here. I also wish these games had more guidance for kids so they can make it easier and more independent at that age, but it keeps me involved in what they're doing, which is a good thing…
