Now I have 3 different models of G900 series mice: Original G900, G903 SE and G903. Lightspeed (this model is under review). Apparently they have switched to cheaper manufacturing and parts as there is no longer any audible or tactile feedback when pressing the middle mouse button (MMB) on older models and regular $10 mice. Also, the mouse had an issue with double-clicking a few weeks after receiving it, while my old G900 only started doing it recently. Without MMB feedback, playing many games, especially strategy games, becomes extremely unreliable and inconvenient as you are never sure. if you actually pressed MMB. In fact, this is not only feedback, but most of the time it is simply not pressed, which leads to many problems. It's even worse when it's pushed in but then released halfway, even if you're still physically pushing it. Never so much that I had to remap the control to another button (MMB Scroll-Left) that REALLY has feedback to the mouse. So while there is feedback for left/right and top/bottom scroll wheels, pressing doesn't work for MMB, which is confusing. It's even more destructive when you're doing 3D jobs like 3D modeling, and causes all sorts of headaches when the mouse just decides to mess up your models by double-clicking and constantly releasing MMB. It becomes such a problem that any regular $10 mouse becomes more comfortable and productive. And even with feedback issues and the fact that it just doesn't respond at times, older models did NOT have this problem. Both my G900 and G900 SE have MMB ratings, they haven't had any double-click issues for weeks (virtually past the Revain return period), and they actually have the same features as the G903 Lightspeed. Yes, the battery life is amazing and I have to give them credit, but they're great for all G900 series mice, so that's nothing new. TL; DR: If your games and work depend on a working middle mouse button and you don't want your $130 mice to fail due to double-click issues, look elsewhere.
